Responsibilities

Meet with stakeholders to gather and document system interface requirements

Design, develop, unit test and system test interfaces using ETL tools such as Pentaho Data Integrator, Pervasive/Actian Data Integrator, and shell scripts

Manage software version control of work products

Manage to the project plan and communicate software delivery schedules

Troubleshoot issues with the implementation of the solution

Assist in the final implementation and go-live activities planning

Become proficient in CGI Advantage ERP by working with the CGI product team and formal / informal training

Provide timely and informative status to the team lead

Required

Prior experience with Pentaho Data Integrator, Kettle, Spoon

Proficient with SQL

Experience with DBMS (Oracle, SQL Server)

Understanding of ETL and similar concepts

Familiarity with Unix environments (RHEL, AIX)

Familiarity with Windows Server environments

Familiarity with scripting languages (Python, Powershell, bsh, ksh)

Preferred

Understanding of state and local government functions

Java programming experience

Familiarity with SDLC (Requirements gathering, testing, QA)

ERP experience (SAP, CGI Advantage, etc.)

Effective communicator and facilitator
