Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain PeopleSoft applications, including PeopleTools, modules, and database components.

Perform regular system administration tasks, including backups, patches, upgrades, and tuning for PeopleSoft environments.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and IT support teams to address system needs and resolve issues.

Implement security measures, manage user access, and ensure compliance with data security policies.

Manage and optimize integrations with third-party systems, databases, and cloud environments.

Document procedures, configurations, and changes to ensure operational continuity and knowledge sharing.

Assist with disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure data integrity and business continuity.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Experience as a PeopleSoft System Administrator or similar role.

Strong knowledge of PeopleSoft applications, PeopleTools, and Oracle databases.

Proficiency in UNIX/Linux and Windows operating systems.

Experience with system monitoring tools, load balancing, and troubleshooting in complex IT environments.

Knowledge of security protocols, data encryption, and compliance requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.

Excellent communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.

Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, HCM, or Campus Solutions.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation.

Understanding of cloud infrastructure and PeopleSoft deployment in cloud environments.

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

ITIL certification or experience with IT service management frameworks is a plus.

Federal Experience is a plus.
