Responsibilities
Analyzing CPU utilization, memory usage, network usage, garbage collection, and database parameters/reports to assess application performance.
Offering technical guidance to enhance system performance, capacity, reliability, and scalability.
Performing root cause analysis of performance issues and recommending corrective actions.
Managing the system performance lifecycle and identifying key metrics for performance improvements.
Evaluating system performance and providing suggestions for enhancements.

Required
8+ years of experience.
Strong expertise in Java Microservices.
Hands-on experience in development, as well as in diagnosing and resolving complex performance issues.
Proficient in both Java Microservices development and performance optimization.
At least 5 years of experience in Microservice development, Java/J2EE performance tuning, database performance optimization, garbage collection, and heap analysis.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
Experience reviewing architectures and detailed designs.
Expertise in identifying bottlenecks across various layers of application stacks.
Experience using code profilers and analyzing profiling snapshots.
Knowledge of application servers and database middleware, including tuning.
Experience with APM tools like Dynatrace and AppDynamics.
Proficiency in thread dump and heap dump analysis.
Strong Java Microservices development experience and a willingness to transition to performance engineering.
A strong ability to learn and focus on application performance optimization.
