Responsibilities
Design and develop performance test strategies, plans, and scripts based on system requirements and expected user behavior.
Execute performance tests using industry-standard tools and analyze results to identify performance bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
Collaborate with development teams to implement performance improvements and validate enhancements through retesting.
Monitor application performance in production environments and proactively identify issues that may impact user experience or system stability.
Conduct load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing to ensure applications can handle expected traffic and data volumes.
Document performance testing processes, results, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in performance testing methodologies and tools.

Required
Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, including load testing, stress testing, and scalability testing.
Experience in analyzing performance metrics and identifying performance bottlenecks.
Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for performance test automation.
Knowledge of cloud platforms and their impact on application performance (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues efficiently.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in performance engineering or a similar role, with a solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
