Responsibilities

Write high-quality, SEO optimized articles for a broad consumer audience.

Pitch, plan, and write short and long-form articles – sometimes with tight turnaround times.

Identify topics and content opportunities aligned with the team's publication projects.

Identify and analyze internal data/data tools to create data-driven educational content.

Assist fellow writers with brainstorming, fact-checking, and analysis.

Collaborate with various partners when necessary.

Be able to pivot quickly in response to business needs.

Required

At least 3+ years of writing experience, preferably for a consumer-facing publication with a focus on personal finance.

Expertise in personal finance topics such as banking, insurance, credit scores, credit cards, and loans.

Experience and comfort analyzing data, using your insights to create data-driven educational content.

Knowledge of SEO best practices.

Willingness to participate in Experian educational video content.

You are able to share published writing samples that show previous projects and experience working in the field.
