Personal Lines Account Manager

Responsibilities
Inform, educate, and make recommendations to clients, carrier representatives, and underwriters; Develop new business from existing accounts and assigned leads as appropriate and in accordance with standard practices, policies, and procedures
Determine acceptability and placement of coverage and collect premium payments when applicable
Resolve billing issues and service requests while maintaining concern for timeliness and completeness of information
Monitor status of change requests, review policy documents for accuracy and follows up to delivery of change documents to clients
Oversee the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts
Supporting clients with standard and complex inquiries regarding coverages, products, and services the company offers.
Responsible for documenting and answering client calls, emails and mail transactions.
Collaborates and responds formally to client correspondence, either verbally or in writing, utilising all reference material necessary to provide an informed response.
Communicates with clients to obtain additional information to complete transactions.

Required
Active current and valid Florida 2-20 insurance license
3+ years of experience in personal lines industry, including thorough knowledge of personal lines products
Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience with Sagitta and Image Right
Experience with EPIC
