Responsibilities
Lead the engineering efforts for deploying and configuring PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud services, including SSO, MFA, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), identity governance and other identity protocols.
Integrate PingOne with enterprise applications, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and microservices to ensure secure and efficient identity management.
Automate workflows and processes for provisioning, deprovisioning, and managing user access using Ping Identity tools and other IAM technologies.
Implement and manage federated identity services (e.g., SAML, OIDC) to allow users and external partners to authenticate securely.
Ensure that the IAM infrastructure meets security standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
Serve as the escalation point for advanced identity issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems related to identity, authentication, and access.
Develop and maintain monitoring tools to track the health of identity services and provide regular reporting on IAM performance and security posture.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM services into broader IT and cloud ecosystems.
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including configuration guides, best practices, and troubleshooting procedures.
Stay current on emerging IAM technologies, security trends, and best practices to ensure that solutions remain cutting-edge and highly secure.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with at least 2+ years of experience working specifically with Ping Identity solutions (PingOne Advanced Identity Cloud, PingIDM, PingAM, PingDS, PingGateway, etc.).
Proven experience in architecting identity solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating with cloud-native applications.
Strong knowledge of IAM standards and protocols, including SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SCIM, and LDAP.
Proficiency in securing APIs and microservices using OAuth 2.0 and OIDC.
Solid understanding of enterprise security practices, zero trust architectures, and identity governance.
Hands-on experience with identity federation and external identity provider configurations.
Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex identity and security issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Ping Identity certifications (e.g., Ping Accredited Mentor, Ping Accredited Consultant, etc.).
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks.
Experience with directory services such as Active Directory (AD) or Azure AD.
Knowledge of privacy regulations like GDPR and CCPA.
