Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and improve a unit sales forecast and inventory plan for a specific business category or grouping of regions

Ensure the alignment of this forecast with internal and external partners through the monthly business planning processes

Identify/manage exceptions, and monitor performance to continually improve the quality and reliability of the plan

Assist in maximizing sales and profit through proper planning and influencing of inventory placement with key partners

Improve forecast accuracy by analyzing forecast error, recommending, and implementing appropriate action plans.

Develop and maintain reports to track and monitor the forecasts, alerts for corrections/improvements and other analytical insights

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering preferred, or equivalent work experience.

2-4 years of professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Planning required

Exceptional Analytical Skills - demonstrated experience with Excel, Access, and/or SQL

Familiarity with data visualization tools (such as PowerBI or Tableau)

Strong analytical and data driven mindset to interpret data, customer behavior, and trends to inform decisions

Passion for business and driving results

Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and convey product screen strategies and insights

The ability to identify challenges and propose innovative solutions
