Responsibilities
Iterating on existing infrastructure and building new infrastructure from the ground up.
Diagnosing root causes of issues, reporting findings, and assisting Senior Engineers in resolving them.
Developing and maintaining technical documentation for client projects.
Writing scripts in Bash or Python.
Monitoring logs, analyzing server metrics, and making informed recommendations.
Executing architecture plans and providing feedback on timelines, security, and potential roadblocks.
Working directly with clients in their environments (VPN, special hardware, Slack/Teams/WebEx).
Supporting the MSP team with advanced troubleshooting aligned with ITIL 3/4 standards.

Required
2-4 years in sysadmin, platform engineering, or site reliability engineering, with hands-on Linux and Windows management.
Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and managing environments with ~100 VMs/services.
Proven ability to design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, or Azure DevOps.
2-4 years of scripting experience with Bash and/or Python.
Familiarity with Git and GitFlow for version control and collaboration.
Experience troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft end-user technologies (Office 365, Teams, OneDrive).
Proficiency in managing Linux and Windows environments, including Active Directory (AD) administration, Group Policy management, and domain controller maintenance.
Expertise in virtual networks, DNS, firewalls, routing, load balancing, VPNs, and CDNs.
Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or Azure DevOps for automated provisioning and configuration.
Solid understanding of Git, GitFlow, pull requests, and branch management.
Experience with Azure Active Directory, SSO integration, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Hands-on troubleshooting of Microsoft end-user technologies such as Office 365, Teams, and OneDrive.
Strong problem-solving mindset and ownership of solutions.
Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions.
Eagerness to collaborate, knowledge share, and work independently when needed.
Preferred
Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL), NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB), Graph databases, and Time Series database systems.
Experience building and using Docker containers, with foundational knowledge of orchestration systems like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
Understanding of logging, metrics collection, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
Experience with Packer or other tools for VM image creation and management.
Familiarity with secret storage mechanisms, endpoint protection, and access control best practices.
