Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable and reliable backend systems using TypeScript and Node.js.
Architect and implement GraphQL APIs, ensuring seamless integration with front-end applications.
Develop and optimize database schemas and queries in PostgreSQL, leveraging ORM tools such as MikroORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.
Write, execute, and maintain robust unit and integration tests using Jest to ensure high-quality code.
Utilize NestJS or similar frameworks to build modular and maintainable applications.
Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure systems meet performance and scalability requirements.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Take initiative in driving projects forward, aligning them with team and business goals with minimal direction.

Required
At least 5 years of experience in platform engineering.
Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
Proven experience in SQL database management, particularly with PostgreSQL.
Hands-on experience with ORM tools like MikroORM, Sequelize, or Prisma.
Proficiency in designing and implementing GraphQL APIs.
Solid experience with Jest for unit and integration testing.
Experience with NestJS or similar frameworks for building scalable applications.
Strong attention to detail in code development, testing, and documentation.
Demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently while aligning with team objectives.
