Responsibilities

Authoring code on a fully-distributed team of engineers supporting the Platform Ingest team’s mission.

Participate in technical architecture discussions and cross-team efforts.

Spend time reviewing pull requests, reading and writing design documents, developing automated testing strategies and manual test plans, and participating in team and product discussions, both in the Open Source community and internal projects.

Collaborate with product management, design, and other Ingest teams to ship compelling features for the central management platform.

Collaborate with teams across Elastic to build a platform that serves the needs of other solution teams such as Observability and Security.

Foster a culture of mutual respect and collaborative decision-making.

Participating in an on-call rotation for supporting Platform Ingest products running in our SaaS offering, Elastic Cloud.
