Responsibilities
Design and Development : Design, develop, implement, and maintain complex PLC programs for industrial control systems.
Troubleshooting and Diagnostics : Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software issues within PLC systems, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient problem resolution.
System Optimization : Optimize existing PLC programs for improved performance and efficiency.
Interface with HMIs and Control Systems : Work with HMIs and other control systems, ensuring smooth integration and operation.
Collaboration : Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of PLC systems with other automation systems.
Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC programs, including design specifications, troubleshooting guides, and maintenance manuals.
Continuous Learning : Stay up-to-date with the latest PLC technologies, trends, and best practices to improve program development.
Travel : Travel to customer sites as needed (approximately 25% domestic, with potential for international travel).

Required
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
7+ years of experience as a PLC Programmer, with hands-on experience in the design, development, and troubleshooting of PLC systems.
Proficiency in multiple PLC platforms such as Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and Omron.
Strong understanding of Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagrams, and Structured Text programming.
Experience with SCADA systems and HMI Development (FactoryTalk View ME, WinCC, etc.).
Experience programming in Siemens Scripting/Siemens PLC programming (TIA-Step 7) or equivalent.
Experience with WinCC Advanced, WinCC OA, WinCC Flex.
Experience with Allen Bradley Scripting, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, FactoryTalk View ME.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with engineers, technicians, and clients.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal teams and external clients.
Willingness and ability to travel approximately 25% of the time, primarily domestically, with potential for international travel.
