Responsibilities
Gathering and analyzing requirements is a crucial part of any project, laying the foundation for its success. As a business analyst, it's up to you to ensure that the requirements are well-defined, documented, and ranked in order of importance to meet both the business's and stakeholders' needs
Gathering data from various sources (internal systems, surveys, interviews) to understand current business processes and identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
Defining and documenting business needs, including functional and non-functional requirements, by collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project goals are clearly understood.
Creating visual representations of business processes using tools like flowcharts and diagrams to identify potential bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
Evaluating the potential impact of proposed solutions by assessing costs, benefits, and risks associated with different options.
Preparing clear and concise reports with actionable recommendations to communicate findings and proposed solutions to key decision-makers.
Assisting with project planning, tracking progress, and managing stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborating with IT teams to ensure new systems effectively meet business requirements and are successfully implemented.

Required
A bachelor's degree in business or related field or an MBA.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
Experience working with point of sale projects.
Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements.
Experience creating and maintaining the product backlog.
Experience prioritizing tasks in the backlog based on the product strategy and changing requirements.
Experience gathering feature requests, scheduling releases, coordinating sprints, and addressing production issues.
Experience developing and communicating the product's goal and vision, and maintaining it throughout the process.
