Responsibilities
Responsible for implementing and adhering to a governance process for the Portfolio Framework and building best practices.
Drive continuous improvements to enhance portfolio management processes, tools, and methodologies.
Evaluate the portfolio to identify opportunities for optimization and maximize ROI.
Gather and maintain documentation on Opportunities/Projects/Programs for Portfolio review.
Maintain and develop templates for Portfolio artifacts and assist in training users.
Provide portfolio governance services including financial updates and reporting.
Build and implement a Business Resource Management methodology to prioritize activities.
Collaborate with team leads to optimize resource allocation across initiatives.
Manage, develop, and administer portfolio items using various software tools.
Design and produce relevant MI on Portfolio performance and trends for operational purposes.
Manage the Portfolio calendar and communicate portfolio status, performance, and recommendations.
Help build resource management capabilities and ensure transparency in resource usage.

Required
3+ years’ experience in project or portfolio management teams, project coordination or related roles.
3+ years’ experience in commercial insurance; ability to demonstrate knowledge of insurance products and capabilities.
Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret data, identify trends and make recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage and influence colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
High degree of organization, individual initiative, personal accountability and comfort in working in a high paced environment.
Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Proficiency in MS tool suite (Office, Power BI, Power Apps) and project management tools.
Knowledge of portfolio management frameworks and best practices.
Understanding of insurance products, processes / workflows a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Preferred
Experience in lean process improvement initiatives and/or resource management, a plus.
