Responsibilities
Support the senior bankers with managing a large portfolio of senior secured loans to sub-investment grade clients.
Assist deal team in borrower analytics, financial modeling, credit approval packages, and quarterly reporting statements.
Manage selected accounts, monitor credit performance, execute amendment requests, and maintain collateral files.
Identify new business opportunities with existing clients and handle internal system processing and KYC/CDD data gathering.
Assist in legal documentation, closing, and funding of waivers, amendments, and upsized commitments.

Required
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting/Mathematics with excellent results
Have previously received credit training and have a solid understanding of debt products
1 year of corporate banking experience considered for Analyst, 4+ years of corporate banking experience considered for Associate
Understanding of accounting statements & principles
Finance background – financial market experience is necessary
Restructuring understanding of legal documentation
Spreadsheets: three statement financial modeling skills are a must
Possess strong communication skills – writing sample required
Have strong credit skills – understand how to properly analyze risk
Are highly detailed in your work
Are self-motivated and willing to work in a deal-oriented and deadline-driven environment
Are able to manage and prioritize competing demands
Desire to work in a collaborative manner in contribution to team objectives
Preferred
An advanced degree and/or a CFA is a plus
Credit training is a plus
