Responsibilities

Support the senior bankers with all aspects of managing a large portfolio of senior secured loans to sub-investment grade clients.
Work with deal team in preparation of borrower analytics, financial modeling, credit approval packages, market comparables, and quarterly reporting statements.
Manage portfolio responsibilities for a group of selected accounts, identifying new business opportunities with existing clients.
Handle internal system processing, KYC/CDD data gathering and processing, legal documentation, and assist deal team in closing and funding of waivers, amendments, and upsized commitments.
Collaborate with various teams including Sectors, financial sponsor originations, Risk Management, Compliance, and Loan Operations teams.

Required

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics/Finance/Accounting/Mathematics with excellent results
1 year of corporate banking experience considered for Analyst
Understanding of debt products
Understanding of accounting statements & principles
Finance background – financial market experience is necessary
Structuring
Understanding of legal documentation
Spreadsheets: three statement financial modeling skills are a must
Strong communication skills – writing sample required
Strong credit skills – understand how to properly analyze risk
Highly detailed in your work
Self-motivated and willing to work in a deal-oriented and deadline-driven environment
Able to manage and prioritize competing demands
Desire to work in a collaborative manner in contribution to team objectives

Preferred

An advanced degree and/or a CFA
Credit training
Salary Range: $105,000-$115,000
