Responsibilities

Thoroughly review all post-closing loan documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Prepare and deliver final loan packages to investors and other stakeholders within specified timeframes.

Accurately enter and maintain loan information in the company’s loan processing system.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external parties regarding post-closing documentation and issues.

Identify, address, and resolve any discrepancies or issues with post-closing documents to ensure timely and accurate submission.

Stay updated with changes in mortgage regulations and ensure all post-closing activities comply with federal, state, and company policies.

Perform quality control reviews on closed loan files to ensure they meet investor and regulatory guidelines.

Maintain organized and efficient filing systems for all post-closing loan documents.

Generate and analyze reports related to post-closing activities and performance metrics.

Required

Minimum of 2 years of experience in mortgage post-closing, loan processing, or a related field

High school diploma or equivalent required

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Proficiency in mortgage software and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex issues with minimal supervision

In-depth understanding of mortgage loan processing, post-closing procedures, and regulatory requirements

Preferred

Associate or bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
