Developing and executing leading-edge research on interactions among families, schools, policy-makers, and communities
Providing data management, statistical, and methodology expertise for interdisciplinary teams
Manuscript preparation
Providing instructional/educational experiences to faculty affiliates and graduate students

Required
Ph.D. in a relevant discipline at the time the appointment begins. Relevant disciplines include, but are not limited to, public health, behavioral sciences, psychology, family science, developmental science, or sociology.
Evidence of substantive knowledge and background in the fields of education, psychology, family or developmental sciences, and/or public health is essential.
Strong evidence of expertise in quantitative research methods (e.g., structural equation modeling, multilevel modeling, longitudinal data analysis, psychometrics, program evaluation, or related approaches).
Prior research experience and strong communication skills.
Evidence of being self-motivated and highly detail-oriented.
Able to manage multiple competing demands.
Preferred
Project and/or data management skills.
Scholarly research publications.
Experience mentoring students.
Experience taking a leadership role on projects.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across various levels and from diverse backgrounds.
