Responsibilities
Develop and apply organoid culture systems to questions regarding paramyxoviruses replication, tropism and species restriction.
Use reverse genetics to generate paramyxoviruses with relevant mutations that allow for analysis of virus-host determinants.
Learn and teach small animal infection and analytical techniques to other members of the lab.
Partake in rotating lab responsibilities that contribute to a well-functioning lab.
Helping the PI write and obtain approvals for animal (IACUC) and relevant biosafety protocols (IBC).
Join in all relevant intellectual activities of the lab and department.
Write and publish results in a timely fashion.
