Responsibilities

Analyze API metrics and their business impact, understanding what is being measured, why, and how.

Build and maintain Power BI dashboards to present data in meaningful, visually impactful ways.

Perform backend data manipulation, including ETL processes and SQL scripting.

Create compelling data narratives that effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.

Present insights to leadership, clearly connecting the data to strategic objectives.

Use storytelling techniques to ensure stakeholders understand and act on recommendations.

Independently drive conversations with stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify objectives, and influence decisions.

Proactively engage with business and technical leaders to uncover needs and align on deliverables.

Translate technical API data into actionable insights that inform decision-making.

Support API governance by identifying gaps, ensuring compliance, and proposing data-driven solutions.

Collaborate with architects and product teams to monitor API performance and align with enterprise standards.

Lead API rationalization initiatives to optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Provide actionable insights on API compliance and performance, helping leadership make informed decisions.

Required

5+ years of professional experience as a Power BI/Data Analyst.

Experience analyzing API metrics in enterprise environments, with the ability to clearly articulate what was measured, the purpose behind the measurements, and how the insights were applied.

Expertise in Power BI, including visualization, dashboarding, and storytelling.

Proficiency in SQL and backend data transformation (ETL).

Proven ability to independently gather requirements and drive conversations with stakeholders.

Exceptional presentation skills, presenting data narratives to leaders and executives, translating complex insights into strategic decisions.
