Responsibilities
Join and transform multi-system data into actionable insights using data visualization best practices.
Optimize Power BI data models to enhance report performance and improve data retrieval and analysis efficiency.
Partner with stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Provide training and support to users on Power BI tools and best practices to facilitate a culture of self-service BI capabilities.
Ensure data integrity and completeness by implementing data validation and testing processes.
Work closely with product engineering to enable seamless integration of Power BI with various data sources, including integrated data sets from internal company-managed software platforms (Salesforce, Workday, JIRA, etc.).
Assist the product engineering teams to develop and maintain our larger organizational data strategy
Regularly update existing Power BI reports as business needs evolve.
Actively research and apply innovative techniques and best practices to improve data visualization and user experience.

Required
Minimum of 2 years in Power BI report and dashboard development.
Strong technical skills in Power BI, SQL, and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
Ability to work effectively within a team, fostering a collaborative environment.
Create models for production use and continuously improve performance through tuning and optimization.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in SQL and data modeling, with experience in ETL processes.
Familiarity with DAX for complex Power BI calculations.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience with Salesforce and Workday.
Proficiency in Python or other coding languages.
Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate is a plus.
