Responsibilities
Design and build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
Develop and maintain efficient data models and schemas to support reporting and analytical needs.
Work closely with ETL and data integration teams to ensure seamless data pipelines and accurate data for BI solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical specifications, and deliver tailored BI solutions.
Optimize BI solutions for performance, scalability, and usability, ensuring minimal latency and quick response times.
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and reliability in all BI outputs.
Prepare and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including data models, workflows, and user guides.
Provide end-user support and training to enable effective use of BI tools and solutions.
Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights, trends, and opportunities that drive business decisions.
Keep up with emerging BI technologies, trends, and best practices to enhance existing capabilities.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience as a BI Developer or in a related role.
Proficiency with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView, Looker, or similar platforms.
Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
Understanding of data modeling techniques (e.g., star schema, snowflake schema).
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for advanced analytics.
Experience with IBM Cognos is a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
Experience with API integration and real-time data solutions.
Understanding of business processes in industries like finance, healthcare, or retail.
