Responsibilities
Design and development of Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Power BI solutions, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Collaborate with strategic business units to understand their reporting and data analysis needs.
Work closely with the IT team to ensure seamless integration of Power BI with other data sources and systems.
Convert existing IBM Cognos Analytics reports into Power BI solutions.
Provide ongoing support to Power BI developers, addressing questions and concerns, and promoting self-service analytics capabilities.

Required
Proven experience (5+ years) in Power BI development, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and other relevant technologies.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Capable of communicating effectively in both verbal and written form.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI, including report and dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions.
Experience with IBM Cognos Analytics is a plus.
