Responsibilities

Lead and manage projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
Conduct energy and capacity price forecasts and analyze market fundamentals to provide valuable insights into market dynamics.
Evaluate various supply resources based on economic and risk factors, contributing to Integrated Resource Plans (IRPs) for clients.
Monitor and advise on key regional market issues affecting community choice aggregators, cooperatives, and public power clients.
Manage portfolio analytics for Western supply planning clients, with opportunities for involvement in national projects.
Stay informed on market developments and contribute to consulting projects, delivering high-quality analyses and presentations to clients.

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering, economics, business, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Pacific Northwest or Western power markets, with knowledge of market regulations and supply dynamics.
Strong project management skills with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver results.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience in client interaction and presentation.

Preferred

Familiarity with energy market concepts such as resource adequacy, renewable resources, and transmission rights.
