Responsibilities

Grid Code Compliance Studies

You'll analyze and test how renewable energy systems (like wind and solar) connect to the energy grid

Power System Design & Optimization

Your role will include improving how the energy systems manage things like voltage and frequency control

Testing and Validation

You'll help test systems to ensure they work according to grid rules (like making sure they can handle faults or disruptions in power)

Regulatory Compliance

You’ll keep track of updates to grid code regulations to ensure all systems stay compliant

Project Management & Coordination

You’ll help plan, schedule, and guide teams to ensure all technical requirements are met on time

Required

Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering

Professional Engineer (P.Eng) or able to get that certification quickly

5+ years of experience in power systems engineering, particularly around renewable energy (wind, solar, etc.) and grid compliance

Familiarity with power system analysis software like PSS/E, PSCAD, or ETAP

Strong problem-solving skills

Strong analysis skills

Strong communication skills

Strong interpersonal skills for working with both regulatory bodies and project teams

Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred

Additional certifications related to renewable energy or grid compliance
