Responsibilities
Provide pre-sales support for all products in the ServiceTrade platform for pre-qualified opportunities.
Collaborate with sales counterparts to gather customer requirements and develop value-focused software demonstrations.
Deliver tailored technical demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concepts that address customer challenges.
Lead technical discussions to help prospects understand our product’s capabilities.
Design and present technical solutions that align with the customer’s business objectives and solve specific problems.
Develop technical proposals and documentation, including configuration details, architecture diagrams, and integration plans.
Provide insights to the product and development teams based on customer feedback and observed market needs to help shape the product roadmap.
Assist in creating and maintaining sales enablement materials, such as thought leadership content, white papers, and FAQs.
Work closely with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales.
Maintain a deep understanding of the ServiceTrade platform, industry, and competitive landscape.
Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and best practices in SaaS for fire protection, life safety, and mechanical services.
Develop and deliver internal training sessions to sales and support teams on product functionalities and best practices.
Understand and communicate the platform's SaaS architecture and API capabilities, demonstrating how integrations can enhance customer workflows and address specific business needs.

Required
2+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consultant, or similar technical role.
Proven experience demonstrating SaaS solutions with a focus on value and ROI.
Familiarity with value-based selling methodologies, such as Command of the Message or solutions selling.
Ability to deliver technical presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to customer needs.
Strong executive presence and comfort with presenting to C-level stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A customer-focused mindset with the ability to build trust and credibility.
Willingness to travel during sales cycles, often with short notice (30-50%).
Preferred
Familiarity with legacy construction accounting software, such as Sage 100C, Sage 300, Viewpoint, COINS, Foundation, Spectrum.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
