Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and deploying advanced ML models and AI agents, prioritizing generative AI techniques, to automate the extraction, classification, and auditing of medical billing data

Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into the existing infrastructure, focusing on operational efficiency, scalability, and cost optimization

Conducting thorough testing and validation of models to ensure their accuracy, efficiency, and reliability meet the highest standards

Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in the realm of generative AI technologies, and assessing their suitability and potential impact on our objectives

Contributing to the continual enhancement of our AI framework, ensuring it maintains its position at the forefront of technological innovation

Evaluating new technologies for potential integration into our systems, aligning with our strategic objectives and business needs

Providing mentorship to junior engineers, sharing insights, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the team

Collaborating with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of business needs and translating them into technical solutions that deliver tangible value

Required

PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science with a specialization in transformers, large language models, or a closely related field. Relevant industry experience will also be considered

Proven experience with LLMs and Deep Learning systems

Preference for experience deploying AI or ML models in a production environment

Preferred experience with medical/claims data

Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI technologies

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, along with frameworks/libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.

Demonstrated ability to stay abreast of the latest AI research and methodologies

Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of effectively conveying complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
