Responsibilities
Design and architect highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and secure distributed systems to support our revenue cycle management platform using .NET framework, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.
Design and develop application use cases interacting with data platforms, such as Databricks, to support data ingestion, processing, storage, and retrieval.
Provide guidance and leadership for engineering groups in the execution of engineering and product development initiatives.
Provide technical guidance and leadership to engineering teams to ensure adherence to software engineering design and practices.
Review architecture and design of existing legacy applications and establish designs and plans for modernization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and operations, to ensure successful delivery of products and services.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our platform.
Ensure compliance with applicable security and regulatory requirements.
Provide architectural guidance at the enterprise level.

Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in designing and architecting distributed systems in a cloud environment.
Strong expertise in distributed systems, data platforms, and cloud technologies such as Azure (preferred), AWS, or Google Cloud, as well as experience with the .NET framework, Kubernetes, event-driven architectures, and Databricks.
In-depth understanding of software engineering design and practices, including agile methodologies, continuous integration and delivery, and DevOps.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
Previous experience with software development in the healthcare industry is required.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred
Prior experience with engineering management at the Director+ level.
Previous experience with revenue cycle management or adjacent concepts such as claims processing is desirable.
