Responsibilities

Build highly available, scalable cloud-native systems using Golang, Java or other OO languages

Lead Sprint to completion and coordinate code reviews

Design, build and operate highly available, scalable cloud-native systems using Golang, Java, or Pega Platform

Work with Product Owners and other stakeholders to prepare end-to-end designs and architecture of Pega Cloud features

Design and understand overall test coverage and ensure that quality gates are passed

Leverage DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines to enable automated operations of our services

Partner with our operations team to plan and execute sophisticated operations along the entire service lifecycle

Suggest improvements in Engineering processes and mentor more junior colleagues

Required

Skilled in designing microservices-based architecture leveraging Cloud-native design patterns and serverless frameworks, with emphasis on scalability and HA

Strong experience with Golang, Java, or other OO language development, ideally with microservices focus

Good understanding and experience in Cloud technologies (AWS), multi-cloud perspective is a plus.

Good knowledge of Infrastructure as a Code (Helm/Terraform)

Skilled in Docker and Kubernetes (having CKAD certification is a plus)

Bachelor's/master’s degree in computer science and 7 to 10 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Having CKAD certification is a plus
