Responsibilities

Define SRE Strategy for Manufacturing Embedded Systems: Role out a Site Reliability Engineering discipline to automate system management and application monitoring tasks. They also use software to solve problems and manage production systems.
Define and Communicate the Product Vision: Clearly articulate the vision and goals for the product, ensuring that all team members and stakeholders understand the project’s direction.
Align Processes and Capabilities with Stakeholders: Ensure that the Software Release Process is aligned between Product Development and Manufacturing.
Drive DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly)
Prioritize Features and Capabilities with Development Team: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize user feature development based on technical feasibility and program timelines.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Regularly engage with stakeholders, including customers, users, and business leaders, to gather feedback and ensure that their needs are being met.
Clarify Requirements: Provide detailed explanations and clarifications for user stories and acceptance criteria to ensure the development team understands what is expected.
Accept or Reject Work: Review completed work and determine whether it meets the acceptance criteria, accepting or rejecting features based on quality and completeness.

Required

15+ years of experience in Networking, Cloud, and System Operations in mission-critical Environments
Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex projects and programs.
BSE/BSC or higher.
Experience in Automotive Diagnostics, Flashing or OTA
Experience working with cross-functional teams, including software developers and other stakeholders.
Deep understanding of DevOps and SRE practices in mission-critical critical scenarios.
Familiarity with software engineering tools and technologies.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with a diverse group of people across different functions.
Automotive Manufacturing and Assembly Experience.
Understanding the industry or domain in which the company operates can be particularly valuable.
