Responsibilities
Offer leadership and direction to various engineering Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) in support of various research and development programs and activities.
Strategize, identify, and secure the required personnel and to execute the programs.
Collaborate with procurement to procure materials and oversee supplier management.
Manage program level milestones through tracking Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) commitments and providing program execution communication.
Establish tracking mechanism to proactively mitigate and reduce technical risks within the program.
Coordinate program technical communications both internally and externally with customers.
Serve as the engineering focal point by ensuring tasks are appropriately planned, baselined, and tracked via EVMS.
Monitor and ensure Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) are meeting their planned targets and milestones.
Ensure technical scope changes are properly coordinated with the Value Streams and full alignment is gained prior to execution of unplanned work.
Communicate effectively (verbally and written) to the program team, management, and customer.
This role presents the opportunity be involved early and throughout the development of components and systems that will help enable the next generation of engine control systems.

Required
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams in developing cutting-edge technical products and solutions.
Control Systems Validation experience.
Aerospace or Defense Industry experience.
Manufacturing industry experience.
Prior research & development experience.
Experience using Microsoft Suite including VISIO, PowerPoint, and Project.
