Responsibilities
Technical Leadership: Provide innovative insights, team alignment, and program execution that delivers results that have technical excellence, while meeting program goals.
Develop Physics-Informed AI Solutions: Design and implement physics-informed AI models for clients, integrating them into complex engineering workflows.
Integrate AI with Engineering Simulation Tools: Work with FEA, CFD, and Multiphysics solvers, as well as model-based system engineering tools and pre-/post-processing tools (e.g., CAD packages, ANSA, VTK, Star-CCM+, etc.).
Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with internal team members and external stakeholders, including clients and collaborators, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Communicate Proactively: Provide clear and effective communication within the team and with external partners to facilitate collaboration and project success.
Adapt and Learn Quickly: Stay current with new tools and technologies, adapting to project needs efficiently.
Develop Demo Applications: Design, develop, maintain, and present demo applications of our solutions.
Deliver Technical Presentations: Provide technical deep-dives, demonstrations, and training as part of the engagement process.
Research & Development: Write proposals partnering with research institutions and commercial partners to win new programs.

Required
Eligibility to access export controlled and ITAR information
Strong technical background in both AI and Engineering Simulation tools
Experience in integrating AI solutions into complex engineering workflows
Excellent communication skills
Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies
Proficiency in Python (especially with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch)
Experience with C++ is a plus
Interpersonal Skills: Quick learner, communication, problem solving, working collaboratively, and interacting with customers
Strong Work Ethic: Goal-oriented, attention to detail, and proven record of delivery
Preferred
PhD or equivalent degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics or comparable area of study
5+ years of relevant work experience in AI, FEA, CFD or related fields
Knowledge of commercial physics-based software and pre-/post-processing tools
Experience with physics-informed ML, SciML, and artificial intelligence methods, including but not limited to Reduced Order Models (ROMs), Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs), Deep Operator Networks (DeepONet), Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Transformers, Encoders, etc.
Experience with physics-based MBSE performance methods
Familiarity with MBSE software tools
Experience developing embedded or edge ML/AI software solutions in IoT frameworks
Experience with Git engineering workflows and collaboration tools
Experience working in a startup environment or agile teams
