Responsibilities

Build and implement scalable applications in dynamic environments including public, private, and hybrid cloud.
Develop and build software for Data Center and routers using programming and scripting languages like Ansible, Python, Java, or Go.
Build and manage infrastructure using On-Prem Data Center Cloud, Public Amazon Web Services, or Microsoft Azure.
Perform software programming and build workflows and blueprints via a workflow engine tool and a Cloud Management Platform (CMP) tool.
Migrate existing applications and deployments by automating deployments via the workflow engine and cloud management platform tools.
Manage deployment of scalable applications utilizing Kubernetes in a container as a service environment.
Build and deploy Cloud technology applications using CMP to On-Prem Cloud and various cloud services.
Troubleshoot issues during development and deployment in multi-cloud environments.
Train software engineers on cloud native principles, multi-cloud capabilities, and migration strategies.
Utilize web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Shell Scripts.
Translate Communication Network Engineering team’s activities to other staff and developers.
Develop application infrastructure using automation tools Ansible or Chef.
Develop technical requirements, aid in backlog management, and train new team members and junior engineers on cloud technologies.
Collaborate between development and operation groups, help migration activities, and review project plans.
Complete quality reviews, resolve issues, create machine images, and configure infrastructure for various applications.
Perform API development and integration, Linux Development on RHEL, CentOS, and Ubuntu, work with CI/CD pipelines, and lifecycle management of artifacts.
Perform Engineering activities in an Agile environment.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or related field
10 years of experience performing Engineering activities in an Agile environment
5 years of experience utilizing software programming and scripting languages, including Ansible, Python or Java
5 years of experience performing API development and integration
5 years of experience performing development on Linux: RHEL, CentOS, or Ubuntu
5 years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines in Git, GitLab, or Jenkins
5 years of experience performing Lifecycle management of artifacts in Artifactory or Nexus

Preferred

A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available
