Responsibilities
Technical Lead on solution deployment projects, including hands on configuration of complex components.
Translating business requirements into specific systems, applications, or process design within comprehensive integrated technical solutions architecture.
Collaboration with internal and external teams on design, architecture, interface design reviews, and process reviews.
Continuously evaluate various parts of the platform for opportunities for security hardening and improvements in observability.
Evaluate new technologies and industry trends, develop proof-of-concepts, and present findings to the engineering organization.
Communication with developers and users of our platform to understand pain points, bottlenecks, and desired features to continuously improve the platform.
Implementation of design/development and testing/readiness/deployment activities with team.
Align solutions with standards and best practices working with cross functional teams/clients.
Perform risk analysis & create mitigation strategies with continuous evaluation and validation of system design and architecture.
Participate in design, development, implementation of real-time operations management software and integration into other systems.
Evaluating internal functions, business development strategies, and IT processes and suggesting improvements.
Creating business architecture models to reflect the organization's strategies and goals and creating and implementing business visions and goals.
Determining and implementing build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or a related field
5+ years of direct implementation, upgrade, and support experience
Strong creative thinking, problem solving, planning, time-management, and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
Business acumen to understand the needs of our business and how technology helps to achieve our goals
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Possess an “everything has a solution” mentality and fearless “go-getter” attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good leadership and motivational skills
Experience in modeling and graphic representations
May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data
Preferred
Technology Experience: Salesforce, Confluent Kafka, Oracle Financials, Oracle SCM, AWS, Decisioning, AI/ML experience
Domain Experience: Billing, Supply Chain, Finance, Tax, Product Catalog, Offers, Real Time Decisioning
Experience in system and solution architecture may be advantageous
