Responsibilities

Creating and maintaining applications/tools for monitoring and new solutions.

Automating tasks with Ansible and Terraform.

Designing, architecting, building, and maintaining production infrastructure.

Ensuring production system stability and availability.

Planning and deploying production system migration/upgrades.

Influencing project directions in compliance with Oracle technology standards.

Debugging systems and tuning performance.

Working closely with the development team to improve Oracle product quality.

Required

8+ years as a Cloud Developer, DevOps engineer, SRE, system administrator systems engineer, etc.

Scripting/Development experience (Perl, Golang, Python etc)

Experience with use, deployment, and development of cloud computing platforms such as Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) / AWS / Azure is a must.

Strong Linux background.

Use, interest, and understanding of Containers using Docker and Kubernetes.

Experience with streaming and messaging technologies such as Kafka , Rabbitmq and Streams is a plus.

Ability to convert conceptual architectures into functional infrastructures end to end.

Knowledge and experience of understanding Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning is a plus.

Preferred

Ansible Collection Framework experience is a plus.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
