Responsibilities
Produce accurate, unambiguous technical design specifications with the appropriate detail.
Lead design and development on an agile team of Engineers, a Scrum Master, a Product Owner, and Experience Designer.
Collaborate, mentor, and advise team members to promote productivity and effectiveness; share business and technical insights with the broader engineering and product organization.
Develop knowledge to act as a domain expert. Take ownership of what the team builds and oversee efforts across the team to ensure completion.

Required
10+ years of experience with significant software engineering skills and computer science experience.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
Hands-on experience with Java based technologies and ReactJS / Angular, JavaScript is very desirable.
Knowledge of Linux, SQL, RESTful API, AWS (EC2, Docker, Kubernetes) and broad technologies.
Proficient with at least one modern programming language and relational databases; experience with modern UI frameworks preferred.
Demonstrable technical design/coding experience on a large-scale web app and a strong understanding of JavaScript ecosystem and web development.
Ability to lead teams/technical projects including technical design, scoping and estimation.
Preferred
Prior experience with Perl, Spring Boot framework, PostgreSQL, Terraform or similar technology is desirable.
Agile experience or CI/CD concepts is desirable.
Digital media and ad tech experience is a huge plus.
Technical understanding (mobile, SaaS, data) – ability to gut check technical feasibility and timelines and remove technical development barriers.
Experience bringing products to market.
Understanding of product management best practices, including agile development environments; Agile certification a plus.
Understanding of healthcare / health IT environment is a plus but not required.
