Responsibilities

Engineering – Responsible for design and implement end-to-end features to solve complex problems in data analysis. Hold high engineering bar on code/design quality through collaborating with other team members, write clean, performance and maintainable code. Creates and applies metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices.

Drive - Have passion to turn vision into detailed plans and execute against complex plans. Coordinating with PMs, and UX design team in driving clarity of functional requirements and intuitive user experience. Lead design discussion with the team and share findings/learnings from investigation, hold ownership for design decisions.

Planning and Deliver – Participate in sprint and semester planning, provide scope estimates. Communicate individual status on deliverables, risks in stand-ups and sprint reviews.  Accountable to deliver results based on business priority and team commitment.

Collaborate – Partner with cross functional team members on design and implementation, manage dependencies, and provide clear communication on delivery and progress.

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check

Preferred

6+ years of industry experience designing, implementing, and shipping software products

Problem-solving skills and comfortable in dealing with ambiguity

Ability to handle competing priorities and perform at an elevated level in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Experience in distributed data systems and query interfaces
