Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the development of technical requirements and other design artifacts.

Understand and ensure adherence to enterprise architectural strategies and standards in technical solutions.

Promote successful delivery of customer value through efficient designs and programming techniques.

Adhere to established development standards and spearhead modifications to improve team quality and productivity.

Utilize an array of programming languages including Java, Python, Rust, Go, TypeScript.

Orchestrate containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, utilizing AWS services for robust solutions.

Design and implement scalable solutions for large data volumes, develop and deploy machine learning models, build data pipelines, optimize algorithms.

Develop software applications that interact extensively with various data stores and build data-intensive software components.

Lead technical areas, manage complex tasks, act as a technical resource/lead to other developers.

Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions, translate technical concepts for stakeholders.

Share knowledge, present information in public forums, train and mentor team members, promote DevOps mindset and practices.

Required

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree (or higher) in an IT-related field of study (i.e., bachelor's or master's in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent)

Minimum 7 years of experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Rust, Java, JavaScript, or Python.

Minimum 7 years of experience in software engineering roles with complex information technology applications.

5+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service

5+ years of experience in open-source frameworks

5+ years of experience in Agile (CICD) practices

5+ years of experience in DevOps practices

Exceptional communications skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred

Demonstrated experience and mastery of regression, functional, integration (end-to-end), and performance testing competencies.

Working knowledge of airline pricing data, systems, and products

Deep experience in different software development methodologies such as agile, lean, scrum, and test-driven development

Proven record of accomplishment of encouraging innovation, implementation of innovative technologies, inclusion, outside-of-the-box thinking, teamwork, self-organization, and diversity.
