Responsibilities

Overall accountability for the deployment and support of systems and platforms for one or more departments.

Develops and maintains platform architecture in collaboration with the platform vendors, infrastructure architects, and stakeholders.

Serves as the technical lead for implementation, upgrade, migration, and decommission projects.

Establishes platform system administrations process and best practices and works with the support organization to ensure appropriate support is provided.

Reviews vendor feature roadmaps, tracks release plans and features, and advises management on upgrade planning and change management.

Plans and implements tools, utilities, and reports that help monitor the platform and continuously assess usage and issues.

Collaborates with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Analyzes and solves operational and optimization issues.

Prepares and delivers presentations to management that inform them of issues and opportunities with our systems and platforms.

Provides expert level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs.

Experience demonstrating an increasing level of technical lead responsibility delivering and maintaining systems and platforms at the enterprise level.
