Responsibilities

Lead Innovation: Partner with senior business leaders to design and deliver cutting-edge, market-leading ERP solutions that align with strategic goals and elevate BECU’s position in the industry.
Design Systems: Translate business needs into detailed system designs, ensuring functionality, scalability, and performance. Collaborate closely with Enterprise and Solutions Architecture teams for a seamless integration of new technologies.
Develop Secure Applications: Architect secure, cloud-ready solutions and establish robust coding patterns that enhance the reliability and integrity of consumer financial products.
Drive Industry Leadership: Envision and deliver groundbreaking solutions that set industry benchmarks, showcasing BECU’s technological prowess and thought leadership.
Build Prototypes: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and test innovative prototypes that address complex business challenges.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Maintain an expert understanding of emerging technologies and industry trends to anticipate opportunities and provide strategic guidance.
Engage and Inspire: Present solutions to technical and non-technical audiences, fostering a culture of innovation and thought leadership within and beyond the organization.
Mentor and Guide: Share knowledge and mentor team members to elevate technical expertise across the organization.
Collaborate Across Teams: Lead multi-team initiatives to deliver impactful enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment and successful implementation.
Champion Continuous Improvement: Drive the adoption of best practices, from Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to cutting-edge software development methodologies.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or equivalent work experience required.
Minimum 10 years of information technology experience with demonstrated expertise in ERP application design.
Experience leading and collaborating with multiple teams for enterprise-wide initiatives, including business unit teams, to deliver solutions through all aspects of the SDLC required.

Preferred

Advanced degree
Knowledge of a specific ERP platform (e.g., SAP, Oracle,) including modules like finance, sales, inventory, and supply chain management.
Experience in programming languages relevant to the ERP system, database management, system integration technologies, and cloud-based ERP architecture.
Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) technologies including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings.
Knowledge of SOLID design principles, Object-Oriented Programming and Design. Expertise with SOA patterns and distributed systems design.
Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery systems and tools such as Azure DevOps Services, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity
Industry conference experience presenting in front of technically adept, and non-technical audiences.
