Responsibilities
Facilitate collaboration between disciplines for high voltage transmission line projects.
Act as the client contact to define project scope and requirements.
Develop final construction documents and ensure quality control.
Estimate construction costs, specify materials, and mentor junior engineers.
Improve internal design standards and processes.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 20 years of experience in transmission line engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license required; multiple state licensure preferred
Expert in PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE, with ability to train others
In-depth knowledge of all aspects of transmission line design and project types
Experience working with or for a Utility
