Responsibilities
Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of privacy policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with various departments components and programs to educate and train staff on matters pertaining to privacy compliance.
Identify potential privacy risks and recommend actions to mitigate those risks.
Stay up to date with changes in privacy laws, regulations, and best practices affecting the organization's operations.
Assist in managing privacy-related inquiries and complaints while ensuring timely responses.
Assist in incident management and training efforts.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 2 years of experience in privacy compliance or data protection supporting a government agency as a federal employee or contractor.
Experience with privacy policies, laws, and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or HIPAA.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must meet security eligibility requirements.
Preferred
Privacy-related certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CIPT) are a plus.
