Responsibilities

Installs, troubleshoots, maintains, repairs and programs data acquisition, telemetry, automation, computer and programmable logic-process control equipment.
Provides technical and programming support for water and wastewater automation control system implementations.
Repairs electronics and SCADA related equipment.
Identifies equipment required for the proper functioning of the SCADA network.
Performs telemetry programming and modifications for SCADA equipment and networks.
Responds to systems emergencies and after-hours calls.
Sets up firewalls and ensures security of SCADA systems.
Operates and maintains various equipment such as telemetry equipment, logic controllers, monitoring equipment, etc.
Interacts with various groups and individuals.
Provides onsite technical support for DCS and SCADA, instrumentation, networking, and security devices.
Tracks and documents work progression, troubleshoots, suggests and implements solutions, adheres to rules and regulations, collaborates with colleagues and vendors.

Required

High School Diploma or GED
Have completed a certification or higher in Informational Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Certified Control System Technician Level I, II, or III (CCST-III) preferred or 2 or more years’ experience in industrial controls, operational technology, and/or product specific training of the above mentioned DCS and SCADA applications.
Ability to read, markup, modify drawings electronic and/or written
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
General understanding of industrial maintenance, electronics, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
Understanding of industrial networking, PLCs, and/or DCS systems.
Team player
Displays good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Displays the ability to articulate problems in solutions in verbal and written formats.
Ability to work in adverse weather and occasional overtime and weekends
