Responsibilities
Solid understanding of modern manufacturing/automation processes including cellular manufacturing assembly processes.
Identify needs for automated operations, justify, implement, and continuously improve these processes.
Implement and sustain projects in Manufacturing Methodologies like Single Piece Flow, Visual Management, Kaizen, Kanban, and 5-S.
Teach Continuous Improvement/Lean Leadership.
Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment operation through optimal run settings, line balancing, maintenance plans, and process analysis.
Develop and implement performance reports to communicate efficiencies, productivity, scrap, safety, and best practices.
Develop machine tools and tooling for quick changeover processes using SMED and Poke Yoke techniques.
Ensure engineering of products for safety, quality, and reliability.
Deliver excellent customer service and uphold company mission, vision, and values.
Knowledge of Rigid Therofoil (RTF) Processes preferred.

Required
Bachelor’s degree of Science in Industrial/Process/Manufacturing/Systems Engineer from an accredited college or university
3 – 5 years of relevant work experience
Lean and six sigma experience
Project management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong interpersonal skills
Toyota Production System Leadership
Preferred
Previous experience in relevant industry co-operative/internship
Previous experience with high-speed automated equipment
Interfacing with programmable logic control-based process and machine controls
Knowledge of Rigid Therofoil (RTF) Processes
