Responsibilities
Address Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) via root cause analysis and design of experiments (DOEs)
Drive improvements to process and production metrics (safety, quality, delivery, cost)
Ensure all processes comply with safety and quality standards
Apply lean manufacturing techniques (e.g., 5S) to process and production improvements
Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are updated as process improvements and changes are released to production
Optimize the solutions (processes, machines, tools) employed within our production environment
Perform process workflow simulations, risk assessments, and process change validation
Continually evaluate equipment and processes to ensure high efficiency and quality
Design and test jigs and other manufacturing aids to support productivity and performance metrics
Support production team by troubleshooting issues

Required
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology.
0-2 years of Engineering experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing methods and procedures, manufacturing quality, and process development.
Ability to navigate complex issues and problems
Ability to work with cross functional teams (production, engineering, and R&D).
Analytical thinker with the ability to assess and navigate risks, perform failure and root cause analysis, and develop design of experiments.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to assess workload and select priorities in an ambiguous environment.
Analytical thinker.
Experience with ISO 13845 or medical device regulation is a plus.
Preferred
Experience in project management methodologies is a plus.
Experience working in a startup environment is a plus.
Experience with additive manufacturing is a plus.
Experience with QuickSight, Jira, and/or GitHub is a plus.
