Responsibilities
Prepare and review detailed estimates for parts manufacturing projects, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
Research and evaluate recent technologies, methods, and materials to improve part manufacturing efficiency and quality.
Review and understand the part documents, such as drawings, specifications, contracts, and proposals.
Participate in customer site visits, and data collection as needed.
Coordinate and communicate with the Eagle team, customers, vendors, and stakeholders throughout the estimating process.
Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment, using engineering principles and best practices.
Identify and resolve any manufacturing problems, such as defects, errors, delays, or waste, using root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
Conduct research and development projects to improve the quality, efficiency, and innovation of manufacturing processes and products.
Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation, such as reports, manuals, specifications, and drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and purchasing to ensure alignment of manufacturing goals and specifications.
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Required
3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably in a related industry.
Bachelor's degree preferred in mechanical engineering or manufacturing engineering.
Proficient in using software tools including estimating software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project, and ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and negotiation skills.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality with ability to manage multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines and quality standards
Knowledge of the relevant codes, standards, regulations, and best practices in the engineering field.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations, statistical analysis, and data manipulation.
Preferred
Certification from a recognized professional organization, such as the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE) or the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE), is an asset.
