Responsibilities
Support manufacturing process by driving continuous improvement for safety, quality, delivery, and cost through troubleshooting and effective problem-solving analysis while utilizing lean manufacturing principles.
Drive process control in manufacturing for sustainability in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity. Compile data, establish regular communication of data, and facilitate action plans while maintaining quality standards.
Manage in sourcing/outsourcing projects, capital equipment projects, including new product production builds, reviewing new product designs, and developing fixturing and tooling to support successful new product launches.
Recognize quality concerns through formal and informal production audits/operator feedback and data analysis. Develop and implement sustainable solutions that can be tracked by quantifiable results.
Provide Manufacturing Engineering expertise for day-to-day activities and new product developments to ensure repeatability and reproducibility of production equipment, processes, testing, and measurement and analytical equipment.
Supply expertise in mechanical Engineering to support CAD/Pro-E drawings and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
Oversee manufacturing fixture design while maintaining ownership for equipment purchase/preventative maintenance and lead process/equipment troubleshooting.
Manage plant layout and material flow.

Required
Bachelors of Science in Manufacturing, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required
Experience with ISO requirements
1 - 3 years of applicable work experience
Lean experience preferred
Statistical Process Control (SPC) experience a plus
CAD / Pro-E
