Responsibilities

Conduct discovery, document current state processes, and identify areas of significant opportunity throughout PRS teams (including underwriting, operations, risk consulting, product, etc.)

Leverage analysis, feedback channels, and process metrics to identify areas of improvement that drive simplified products, create repeatable processes, streamline/simplify systems, improve the customer experience, and reduce issues and pain points. Help identify opportunities to optimize resource throughput and capacity utilization

Create business process documentation (mapping, job-aids, etc.) to understand process steps, interdependencies, and applications used to complete transactions

Develop and present continuous improvement initiatives to stakeholders and business leaders that are compelling, motivate, drive change, create value, and drive buy-in

Coordinate with the process engineering team, business owners, IT development teams, and other relevant stakeholders to define requirements, design, develop, test, and deploy solutions as needed

Support implementation and change management of solutions within the business; Communicate project status, issues, and risks to internal and external teams on a regular basis

Foster strong relationships with Sales, Underwriting, Operations, and Claim's functions to collect stakeholder input and ensure the adoption of optimized business processes

Assist with establishing consistent standards and practices within the Process Engineering team and across PRS

Required

Bachelor's degree and a 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry

Personal Lines insurance experience is a plus

Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Yellow Belt, Lean, Change Management or equivalent training/ certification

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft suite (specifically PowerPoint, Visio, MS Excel)

Agile, Waterfall, or other project management/environment experience

Preferred

Management consulting experience or experience leading or participating in process discovery, process analysis, process design, or process optimization is a plus
