Responsibilities

Lead Maintenance Initiatives: Supervise the optimization and maintenance of machine systems, controls, and automation processes.

Champion Production Excellence: Oversee troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives to meet production demands.

Robotic Systems Leadership: Manage the debugging and optimization of Fanuc robotic systems for seamless integration and operation.

Ensure Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor statistical processes and controls to uphold and improve product quality.

Drive Problem-Solving Efforts: Isolate and analyze complex production challenges, implementing effective, long-lasting solutions.

Oversee Equipment Testing: Validate production and process conditions to ensure equipment functions at peak performance.

Optimize Efficiency: Spearhead activities to reduce cycle time and improve process efficiency, leveraging lean methodologies.

Manage Projects: Lead projects from initiation to completion, aligning efforts with organizational objectives and using data-driven insights.

Foster Innovation: Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to develop innovative strategies, refine processes, and implement best practices.

Document and Train: Ensure accurate documentation for troubleshooting and process improvements, while mentoring and training team members for skill development.

Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Oversee issue resolution in machine control systems, including robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and more.

Enhance Preventive Measures: Recommend and implement preventive strategies to drive long-term operational success.

Required

3+ years of experience in an automation technician or process engineering role.

3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and inspire teams.

Expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing production machinery and processes.

Strong knowledge of production systems, mechanical processes, and lean methodologies.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.

Preferred

Experience with vision systems (Fanuc iRVision, Cognex Vision).

Expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell Automation, Fanuc, Automation Direct).

Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD or DraftSight).

Experience with CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam).
