Required
Knowledge and experience using process improvement methodologies, e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, process mapping techniques, process analysis (8 lean wastes), and performance measurement.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, organize, and interpret data to drive insights and recommendations.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
Proficient in using process improvement tools and software, such as process mapping software, statistical analysis tools, and project management platforms.
Change management experience, including driving process change and promoting organizational adoption.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
Experience in process improvement, business process reengineering, or related roles.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, workflows, and systems within transportation, logistics and demand planning functions to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Work with stakeholders to implement improvements effectively.
Help facilitate continuous improvement projects utilizing methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma and Kaizen.
Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and collect relevant data to measure process effectiveness.
Identify challenges and opportunities within the Supply Chain organization, including demand planning, inbound transportation, outbound transportation, and warehouse operations.
Develop and manage end-to-end plans across all relevant initiatives (People, Process, Partner, and Tools), providing coverage across design, key delivery milestones (including training and communication) and metrics, and managing dependencies between initiatives and broader transformation activity.
Identify potential risks to delivery and drive the resolution of issues/problems with Subject Matter Experts, Project Steering Committees and Core Teams.
Lead and participate on project teams and ad hoc activities to support and/or represent the Customer Fulfillment function and drive continuous improvement.
Coordinate and create test scenarios, test and implement ticket resolution processes with parties impacted.
Coordinate the revision of SOPs, Work Instructions, and Training documents as needed for system changes impacting the Customer Fulfillment team.
Maintain knowledge of company products and services offered by other departments. (i.e. Professional Services, Operations, Accounts Receivable, Sales and Marketing)
Maintain cGMP standing through timely completion of all training provided.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively in-person and via e-mail and telephone.
Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills on all levels in the organization.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong data analysis skills, including proficiency in Excel and visualization tools.
A background in continuous improvement, with experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies is a strong plus.
3 – 5 years of relevant pharma or biotech industry experience, minimum 2 years GMP experience required.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and successfully leverage internal and external resources.
Ability to handle multiple projects and assignments while being able to prioritize and meet budgets deadlines and achieve objectives.
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Preferred
Proficiency in SAP is a plus.
